I was honoured to have been invited to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, His Excellency Mr. Alfonso M. Dastis Quecedo, who welcomed me back to Spain as a Sephardic descendant. His recognition of my lifelong dedication, as a Jew of Spanish descent, towards perpetuating our ancient Judeo-Spanish culture and language, Ladino, on behalf of my ancestors, marked the pinnacle of my Judeo-Spanish journey.
