Mildly Spicy Puffed Rice - Bhel puri














Such a fabulous Sunday lunch celebrating Indian cuisine with this wonderful company of dedicated home cooks including my friend Zing Rungsung, the Indian ambassador’s wife. I so enjoyed trying new recipes and learning to make paneer from scratch, then marinating it in a flavorful sauce and finally cooking paneer tikka in a traditional tandoor from India!

As a change from our traditional Sephardic rice pilafs I was taught a mildly spicy puffed rice recipe called Bhel puri.
