My aunt Mathilda stood in front of the Castellania Fountain in Rhodes in 1936 ,she later perished in Auschwitz in 1944. 83 years later I stand in the same place at the 75 th Commemoration of the the deportation of the Jew of Rhodes with hundreds of descendants from all over the world to pay homage to all our beloved Rhodesli ancestors who were taken from this island on July 23, 1944. Today we are in Rhodes!
