Coiled Swiss Chard, Fresh Herb, Cheese & Egg Filo Pie


This Rosh Hashanah I am making a delectable alternative to the traditional boyos that appear at the Sephardic New Year dinner. I combine freshly picked Swiss Chard with Greek cheese, eggs, spring onions (scallions) and fragrant herbs, delicately wrapped in filo pastry and coiled into a large pie. Try this easy prepare ahead vegetarian dish made with Swiss Chard – another of the symbolic foods that appears at the Sephardic Rosh Hashanah table.
