Fresh Cauliflower and Aubergine Pickles

Most Sephardic households love to have an enticing supply of jewel-like pickled vegetables to enliven any meal. Cauliflower and aubergine, freshly picked from my garden this morning makes a crisp, tangy pickle steeped in brine and flavored with aromatics.
